In this course we will explore the recent possibilities and limitations in social media web data mining, including e.g. the mining of alternative micro-blogging-services or other networks that can be modelled as social graphs like github etc. In the context of this topic we also discuss the ethical responsibility, technical burdens and initiatives of doing good with data.
