In this course we will explore the possibilities of web data mining. It
includes, on the one hand, aquiring practical skills for accessing APIs
and gathering, processing and analysing text data from social web
platforms like e.g. Twitter etc. using Python. On the other hand, we
will also discuss the relevance for linguistic data science research and
what kind of ethical concerns exist.
