Confirmation of Participation Templates
UNIC Template for confirmation of participation - FAQ/internal Guidelines
The overall aim of the template is the confirmation of the participation in UNIC offers to document the UNIC experience (not CPs/grades!) of students/staff. The former name “certificate” should not be used officially.
Participants of the following formats will receive a confirmation:
WP1:
- Working Conferences (especially for students; partly for staff)
WP 2:
- Open online courses
- Virtual exchanges
- BIPs
- UNIC Summer/Winter/Spring Schools etc.
- Internship
- UNIC InterTeach programme (as proof of attendance)
WP3:
- CityLabs
WP4:
- Staff Exchanges
WP5:
- Thematic Conferences (especially for students; partly for staff)
Other formats can be added (after a decision in the respective WP) and the templates can be used for other types of UNIC cooperation if seen as useful
Participants of the following formats won’t be receiving confirmation of participation:
- Classical physical Erasmus+ exchanges
- Online Language Modules (OLM)
Organisational Information:
Each local UNIC team is responsible to deliver the templates to the participants of the activities, which they have hosted. The decision, which local unit will create the documents, will be taken on the local level.
For the data protection reasons, there won’t be any central list to document the participants, who have received the confirmations.
The confirmations should be sent via email and in a PDF format individually to the participants, without showing the email contacts of other recipients.
Technical Information:
There is one template for each partner. The difference being the logo of the issuing partner in the top right corner.
Please edit all marked passages with the information of the format. (format, title, teacher(s)/facilitator(s) and home University, and the date of the format)
Please edit the marked “lorem ipsum” part with a short summary of the format. Please keep in mind that the space on the document is limited. This description may include the workload (ECTS).
Please edit the issuing date at the bottom left.
On the bottom right space is reserved for a seal or signature of the issuing entity. If this is always the same at your university you can edit this in the template.
Please send the confirmation as a PDF to the participants!
How to fill in participants
You can do this manually.

You can use the provided excel sheet to fill out the names and home universities using the mail merge function in word. You will need one sheet per format.
