      November 13, 2025

      We finished the topic of stereotypes between Breat Britain and the US. 

      We started a new topic : The Magna Carta, after watching the film, students worked in small groups and discussed the 7 questions on the exercise sheet.

      On November 20th we will continue with the topic of the Magna Carta and progress to the topic of the US Constitution.

      During the lesson today we completed the topic of the US Constitution and progressed to the next topic "The Jim Crow Laws" in the US and the "Colour Bar" in Great Britain. 

      Next week you will be in Berlin, therefore no class. The following week on Dec 4th, we will continue with the topic of segregation in the US and Great Britain. I have created a work sheet and you will work in small groups.

      During our class today, we spoke about presentations. Students signed their names on the list and chose a topic and date.

      In preparation for next week December 11, 2025, the next topic is suffrage, please prepare yourselves. Look for information in the internet. Additional I have posted two short videos for viewing.

      We continued with the topic of Jim Crow and the Colour Bar. Two groups gave their presentations. We will continue with groups 3,4 & 5 next week.

      December 11, 2025

      During our class today we finished the topic of segragation in the USA and GB. Groups 3/4/5 presented their topics.

      In the last 15 minutes of the class we started  a new topic Suffrage in GB.

      Next week we will start with the individual presentations and time permitting we will continue with the topic of Suffrage. Over the weekend watch the two videos and become familar with the attachment concerning the group projects.
