The seminar studies cutting-edge results in automatic testing and software security, tailored for Master’s students aiming to develop a research vision. It addresses various aspects of automatic testing techniques, from software engineering challenges to practical security concerns.
Each student will choose one or two papers (depending on attendance) to summarize and present in class. Following each presentation, students will engage with the instructor to discuss different aspects of the research.
For each paper presented, two students will write a review following an academic peer-review methodology. The review is divided into two parts. The first part analyzes the paper, highlighting its novelty, methodology, and evaluation. The second part critiques the presentation and classroom discussion.
