This course is intended for Academic Track MA students, and it will introduce them to the theories and methods of the History of Christianity, Judaism and Islam from approximately the 7th century to the 19th. The course also serves as preparation for writing an MA Thesis. Weeks will vary between theoretical readings and methodological assignments, which students will relate to a major religious text of their choice. The course will take place over two semesters.
