• Panel 2: The G20 and Global Economic Governance

      Prof. Sunghoon Park holds the Jean Monnet Chair at the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) at Korea University (https://gsis.korea.ac.kr). He is involved in a series of projects regarding Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) and is furthermore in charge of educational programs regarding "improving understanding of EU".

      Prof. Park's research includes international trade and investment policy, Europan and Asian economic integration as well as Korea's external economic policies. His presentation focuses on The G20 and Global Economic Governance.

      Prof. Bernadette Andreosso-O'Callaghan is visiting professor of East Asian Economics at Ruhr Universität Bochum. She holds the Jean Monnet Chair of Economics at the Kemmy Business School and is Director of the Centre for European Studies at the University of Limerick, Ireland. 

      Her research focuses on economic integration and EU-Asia relations as well as structural change in European and Asian countries. In her presentation, Prof. Andreosso-O'Callaghan discusses the current economic challenges to the G20 in the framework of global economic governance.

      Prof. Zhu Jiejin is associate professor for International Studies at the department for International Politics at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) at Fudan University, Shanghai, China (http://www.sirpa-en.fudan.edu.cn/main.htm).

      Prof. Zhu teaches classes on international institutions and Global Economic Governance, BRICS and G20 as well as Multilateral Development Banks and International Development. His presentation concerns the topic "From informal to 'informal+formal' G20 and Global Tax Governance".
