The seminar 'Kinematics and Kinetics' is part of Module 1 'Biomechanics & Motor Control'. Kinematics and kinetics are branches of classical biomechanics that describe human motion and the relationship to its causes, namely muscle forces.Â
Within this seminar you will learn to independently perform and interpret human motion analyses based on state-of-the-art experimental techniques. Therefore, you will obtain relevant knowledge about human body models and their limitations to represent the actual biological system. You will further learn to understand and how to use inverse and forward dynamic modelling for the analysis of human movement.Â
Accordingly, the seminar 'Kinematics and Kinetics' will provide highly relevant skills for working in professional fields like sports biomechanics or clinical gait analysis.
