Confinement Concepts and Advanced Materials for Extreme Environments (160511-WS 21/22)


In this lecture, we will introduce the basics of magnetic confinement of high temperature fusion plasmas and describe the challenges and concepts for materials in extreme environments, e.g. at the first wall of a fusion reactor.
