Einführung in die theoretische Plasmaphysik / Introduction to Theoretical Plasma Physics (160204-WS 21/22)

In this lecture the an introduction to plasma physics will be given. The main topics are particle drifts, kinetic theory, and fluid description.  In the first part the adiabatic invariants are included, while in the second part a short discussion about dispersion theory including waves will be discussed, and in the last part the magneto-hydrodynamic theory is discussed.

For all the topic s some astrophysical examples will be given.
