Der Kurs soll als Einführung in die Geochemie dienen, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf der Haupt- und Spurenelement-Systematik geologischer Proben sowie stabilen und radiogenen Isotopensystemen. Die Geochemie ist ein Instrument zur Identifizierung von Prozessen, die für die Bildung geologischer Materialien verantwortlich sind, sowie deren Herkunft. Die Geochemie bietet Ihnen ein vielseitiges Toolset, das sich mit einer Vielzahl von Bereichen der Geowissenschaften überschneidet (Erzgeologie, Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology, Kosmochemie, Strukturgeologie, Sedimentolyse, Mineralogie usw.).
The course is designed to serve as an introduction to geochemistry, with special emphasis on major and trace element systematics of geological samples and stable and radiogenic isotope systems. Geochemistry is a tool for identifying processes responsible for the formation of geological materials and their origin.
