    • When you start your studies, you will receive a personalized RUB email address from your colleagues at IT.SERVICES, which usually consists of Vorname.Nachname@ruhr-uni-bochum.de.  

      We strongly recommend that you check your e-mail box regularly - preferably daily during the week - as all (official) written communication from lecturers, fellow students, examination offices, the administration, the rectorate or other institutions runs via the RUB mail system.

      If you use it frequently, it is worthwhile to set up a mail client (e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird or iOS Mail) so that the e-mails can be retrieved quickly and easily.
