Das ZFA (Zentrum für Fremdsprachenausbildung) bietet in Zusammenarbeit mit dem International Office einen spezifischen Englischkompaktkurse für geflüchtete & internationale Studierende und Studieninteressierte an, die im akademischen Englisch ihre Kompetenzen erweitern möchten.
Das Lehrangebot richtet sich an internationale Studierende und Studieninteressierte.
1. Kurs (B1-B1/B2): 18.08.25-29.08.25, täglich von 09:00-14:00 Uhr
2. Kurs (B2-B2/C1): 08.09.25-19.09.25, täglich von 09:00-14:00 Uhr
Wenn Sie sich für das Angebot interessieren, müssen Sie sich hier bewerben, indem sie den Fragebogen ausfüllen und Ihren Aufenthaltstitel/Ausweis hochladen. Wir werden Ihre Anmeldung prüfen und Ihnen nach Ablauf der Bewerbungsfrist via E-Mail mitteilen, ob Sie an dem Englischkurs teilnehmen können oder nicht. Studienspur-TeilnehmerInnen können nur an dem Englischkurs teilnehmen, wenn sie bereits den TestDaF-Vorbereitungskurs abgeschlossen haben.
Eine Einstufung durch das ZFA ist verpflichtend und finden online statt, unter: https://exam-zfa.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/.

Achtung: Eine Teilnahme am Englischkurs ist nur mit einer vorherigen Einstufung möglich. Es ist wichtig, dass Sie den Test selbst durchführen, um sicherzustellen, dass Ihr tatsächliches Sprachniveau dem des Kurses entspricht. Weder ein zu hohes noch ein zu niedriges Niveau ist für die Teilnahme geeignet.

If you are interested in the offer, you must apply here by completing the questionnaire and uploading your residence permit/ID card. We will check your application and inform you by e-mail after the application deadline whether you can take part in the English course or not. Study track participants can only take part in the English course if they have already completed the TestDaF preparation course.
Placement test by the ZFA is mandatory and will take place at ZFA

Please note: Participation in the English course is only possible with a prior placement test. It is important that you take the test yourself to ensure that your actual language level corresponds to that of the course. Neither too high nor too low a level is suitable for participation.
