In this module, the students acquire skills to apply the finite element method to various structural problems using multi-physics commercial software (ABAQUS). This course is designed to equip students with the necessary tools to apply the theoretical concepts learned in the Finite Element Methods course, to real-world problems. The course covers the details of the structural analysis procedures: such as creating geometries; defining material properties, loads, and boundary conditions; checking and solving the problems; analyzing and interpreting the results.
