I posted HW 1 on Moodle. The deadline is Saturday, August 24, 17h.
Also, for tomorrow's FQs, please
a) the first three pages of the "Coordination vs. Voluntarism" paper by Scott Barrett in the journal PNAS. The question(s) will be about the three stages of a "treaty" and what this treaty has to do with the Prisoner's Dilemma.
b) the first page of the Barrett and Dannenberg paper "Climate Negotiations under Uncertainty". What does "threshold" refer to in this paper?
c) the introduction to the paper by Kotchen "Which Social Cost of Carbon?" The question will be about the size of the social cost of carbon in the United States, and why that number has caused controversies.
