The following multiple choice test consists of 25 questions where either all three answers are correct, one answer is correct or two answers are correct. There is no question with no correct answer.
You may gather one point by answering the question correctly, that is where, for instance, two answers are correct, two answers are given.
You are not allowed to use any aides but the texts to be downloaded before the first lecture on Conflict of Laws (http://thomasthiede.info/Classes/texts.pdf).
Moreover, the answers must be the result of your very own performance; teamwork and communication during the examination in any form, even by only two persons, is strictly prohibited. Ghostwriting - i.e. the output of the answer text written by one or another person as one's own text - is strictly forbidden.
The University of Bochum takes academic misconduct/cheating very seriously and it will not be tolerated. It is a breach of trust to the university, to the university's reputation, to fellow students as well as to future employers. Cheating to pass this exam or simply to obtain a better grade is a breach of academic integrity thus penalties will be severe.
