This short lecture-and-practice course introduces LAP program students to the fundamentals of Python programming. Python serves as the primary tool for experimental tasks throughout their studies and lab work, making this course a good foundation. The course consists of 10 sessions of 2 hours each, combining short lectures with hands-on practice. Topics progress from core language basics through to practical scientific tasks solutions: data structures, functions, classes, and widely used libraries including NumPy, SciPy, SimPy, and pandas.
