The essential technologies and behavioral changes required for a sustainable economy are well-known. However, in practice, the scaling of many technologies proceeds more slowly than necessary to achieve climate targets.

This lecture provides insights into and connects the key drivers from technology, economics, psychology, and (geo-)politics. You will gain knowledge and skills in the following areas:

a) Systems understanding of key drivers and barriers to industrial sustainability
b) Economic interrelations and business cases for sustainability
c) Decision-making processes within companies
d) Key control and measurement metrics for sustainability
e) Influencing corporate decisions in their future careers and increasing the likelihood of project approval
f) Soft skills in presentation and persuasive communication
