On Friday, May 23, 2025, from 11:00 to 14:00 a hands-on scientific writing workshop led by Dr. Claus Roll, (Deputy Senior Director at OPTICA) will occur at ETIT RUB.
This session is for students aiming to enhance their academic writing skills. The workshop will begin with a two-hour lecture covering the fundamentals of scientific writing, including structure of a manuscript, essential components, and effective writing strategies. Following the lecture, participants will get a 40-minute practical exercise to apply the concepts discussed. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Clara Saraceno, an esteemed OPTICA editor, will provide insights into the peer review process, offering valuable insights on publishing in scientific journals. To maintain an interactive environment, attendance is limited to 30 participants. The location of the event will be announced soon.
