This seminar series is intended for doctoral researchers, postdocs and qualifying students of the Research Training Group GRK 2833 "East Asian Futures". It is jointly taught by the participating researchers and thesis supervisors, alternatingly at the Ruhr University Bochum and the University of Duisburg-Essen (Duisburg campus). The course introduces leading research in the humanities and social sciences relevant to the study of conceptions of the future in East Asia.
