The immune system is comprised of a complex network of cells and molecules that interact with each other and is distributed over our entire body. In this lecture series, we will first introduce different cell types of the immune system. Subsequently, we will discuss the immune system in the context of certain diseases such as infection, autoimmunity and cancer. Finally, we will present recent developments of immunological and biomedical techniques that the current state-of-the-art in basic and clinical research.

Each lecture will be given in lecture hall HMA40 and afterwards uploaded as a PDF file.

After the lecture series, a written test will be done.
