Globalization brings employees from all over the world closer together, through direct value chains or indirect competition. In view of the very different regions of the (working) world, there are major differences in labour regulations and working conditions. It is therefore becoming increasingly important to gain an understanding of the extent and mechanisms of employee participation in companies. The seminar provides an overview of the global dimension of various forms of employee participation at the plant level, including interdisciplinary perspectives. It focuses on the analysis of practices of employee participation in the control and enforcement of their working and employment conditions as well as their participation in the implementation of strategic objectives within the company. Please note that the course will be held in English!
