Today, knowledge is easy accessible all across the globe. Humans are confronted with more and more information, however it is increasingly challenging to identify relevant and correct information. Prof. Rochus Schmid and Dr. Klaus Merz decided to provide students with relevant tools and understanding on how to efficiently search for data and how to deal with the found data.
This master class (5 CP) is carried out as Blended Learning Class. Students have the opportunity to study from home with short videos (“lectures”) as well as digital exercises, which include Moodle tests and peer-review tasks. Additional seminars will be offered. We will cover the topics of data literacy, scientific databases and journals, data archiving.Start: Mon, 11.04.22, 14-16 h – HNC 30
