The course shall introduce students to history and features of manticism in China and will give an overview of the ways in which Chinese mantic practices spread all over East Asia. Two points will be at the core of the term: the variety of the practices on the one hand and, on the other hand, their relationship with the different religious traditions.

Requirements: The course is open to Bachelor students without knowledge of the Chinese language. The course requires a presentation and a written summary of the course
