Ziel des Lehrstuhls ist es, grundlagen- und anwendungsorientierte Forschung fĂŒr eine zukunftsfĂ€hige Kohlenstoffnutzung durchzufĂŒhren. Dabei steht im Vordergrund, Kohlenstoff aus heimischen, industriellen und regenerativen Quellen zu erschlieĂen, Verfahrenstechniken zur Umwandlung sowie Produkte zu entwickeln und die Grundlagen technischer KohlenstoffkreislĂ€ufe zu erforschen. Unser Ziel ist es, fĂŒr gut verfĂŒgbare Rohstoffquellen ökonomisch und ökologisch sinnvolle Konversionstechnologien im Labor- und PilotmaĂstab zu demonstrieren.
(e) In this course, you will find current opportunities for theses and student projects offered by the Carbon Sources and Conversion research group. Our research combines fundamental and applied work to support the sustainable use of carbon. We focus on making carbon from local, industrial, and renewable sources available for use, developing conversion processes and products, and investigating the foundations of technical carbon cycles. Our goal is to demonstrate economically and environmentally viable conversion technologies for readily available feedstocks at laboratory and pilot scale.
